Tropical Hibiscus plants are related to Hardy Hibiscus plants, but are less tolerant of cold weather.

Tropical Hibiscus come in a variety of sizes, but one of the most common in the Houston area is a variety called Brilliant Red, which can reach six to eight feet tall.  Like Hardy Hibiscus, Tropical Hibiscus like full sun.  For more information, click here.
